"Beyond the playfulness of
Provda’s Brushes, there’s
something fitting and holistic
about using pieces of natural
objects that beautify
the land to construct objects
that are used to beautify
another masterwork of
Mother Nature-the human face.
Provda, who believes 'our
relationship to everyday
objects should be functional
yet playful."

I have been an artist for over
twenty-five years. Working in
the corporate world left a void
within my creative side.
So I decided to re-establish
my previousbusiness of
contemporarycrafts.
One of my associates has breast
cancer and I wantedto do something
that would make her feel pretty when
she put on makeup.
I designed a cosmetic brush
for her that says "believe",
"faith", "strength" and "focus."
So every day when sheputs
on her makeup, itreminds her
of the fightshe endures
and helps keep her focused.
One night I had an epiphany.
I donated money to the
earthquake relief for Haiti.
The company that I currently
work for matched funds,
which made me feel
like I made a small difference
in this insecure world.
Ten percent donation will
go to:
- Save the Ta-Tas for Breast Cancer
- Pet Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah
- American Heart Association.
Your choice.
Your gift, your donation.
It can be in honor of somebody--
a birthday,
graduation,
retirement.....
Alternatively,
it can be in memory of...
or just because.
Therefore, when you use
my art you will know that
you've made a difference
in somebody’s life.
My work has been shown previously
in Elle, Vogue, Cosmopolitan,
Atlanta Journal and Hudson Valley.
I have also been featured
in several museums:
